WHAT TO DO IN PÄRNU? WHERE TO GO?

CAFÉ GRAND

Café Grand was already known as a first class restaurant in the year 1934. At that time, the cafe was meant for "higher-class people", where the great soloists from Tallinn performed. During Soviet times, the place carried the name Võit - the orchestra performed there twice a day. After the capital repairs for the whole building in 1991 the hotel and restaurant were named Victoria.

In December 2001 the newly renovated and re-decorated restaurant was opened as Café Grand.

The Victoria Hotel is a plastic Riga Heimatstyle building that was completed in 1926. It was one of the first and most significant designs by E. v. Wolffeldt and A. Nürnberg in Pärnu. Initially, the set of buildings included a commercial building with a mansard, a building in the courtyard and a romantic stall in the corner of the plot.

In 1931, it was rebuilt according to the design of O. Siinmaa to accommodate the Grand Hotel with a cafe, later a restaurant, on the ground floor. The building was reconstructed in 1991 for the Victoria Hotel. Guest rooms were also built to the mansard.

There are 23 guest rooms in the hotel, including 19 doubles and 4 singles. The rooms are of various sizes and designs. There are en suite shower and toilet facilities, a phone and flat screen TV in each room. The rooms facing Lõuna Street have a marvellous view to Lydia Koidula's park.

There are a bar and á la carte restaurant Café Grand on the ground floor.

We offer full comfort and customer-focused service for people travelling for business or for pleasure in our hotel in the heart of the town.
